Kylian Mbappé has won his first Onze d’Or as the best player of the 2025/26 season.
Real Madrid announced the award on Monday, October 19, after the French forward secured 48.2% of the votes from readers of French magazine Onze Mondial.
It is the first time in his career Mbappé is winning the award.
PSG midfielder João Neves finished second with 11.9% of the votes, while his teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia came third with 10.8%. Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal was fourth with 9.7% and last year’s winner Ousmane Dembélé was fifth with 7.5%.
According to Real Madrid, Mbappé was top scorer in both La Liga and the UEFA Champions League during the 2025/26 season. He also won the Golden Boot at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he became the tournament’s all-time leading scorer.
Mbappé succeeds compatriot Dembélé as Onze d’Or winner. The award comes one week before the 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony scheduled for October 26 in London.
Established in 1976 by Onze Mondial, the Onze d’Or is voted for by the magazine’s readers and is separate from the Ballon d’Or organised by France Football.
