Dangote Agrees To Feature On Bae U’s YouTube Talk Show ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’

Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, has agreed to appear on content creator Bae U’s YouTube programme, “Curiosity Made Me Ask’.

Bae U, whose real name is Adebayo Ridwan, extended the invitation during a visit to the Dangote Refinery in Lagos on Monday.

The creator told Dangote that most of his interviews have been on platforms that young Nigerians don’t watch, despite their interest in his business and the planned IPO of his company.

“Most of the interviews we’ve seen you have been on platforms that my generation don’t watch,” he said, adding that he was not asking him to sack his media team but to consider his show.

Responding, Dangote accepted the invitation, saying “We will come,” without announcing a date.

He said young people are the future of Nigeria and Africa, and admitted that his generation has not done enough for the continent.

“Honestly, the future that we have is actually you, the youth. We, our own generation, really, we have not really done very well for Nigeria and also for Africa. That’s the truth,” Dangote said.

He added that older Nigerians need to sit down with young people to share experiences. Dangote also said he was open to an unrestricted interview where young Nigerians can ask about his business journey.
